There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer for studies and clinical trials within the Division. Here are a few studies currently recruiting:
- Take part in a study to improve knowledge of how vaccination stimulates immune cells. You could be helping to develop future vaccines.
- The university of Oxford is seeking people over the age of 50 who are experiencing memory changes (either mild cognitive impairment or dementia) to take part in the Synaptic Health in Neurodegeneration (SHINE) study. Check: 'Click here for current studies'
- The Cobalt study would like to invite people with Parkinson’s or Lew Body Dementia to trail Memantine treatment alongside usual memory medications. Check: 'Click here for current studies'
- Volunteers needed to support the Blood Biomarker Challenge, in the READ-OUT study; seeking people with a memory diagnosis that are over the age of 45. Check: 'Click here for current studies'
- Early Intervention Mission - £25 reimbursement offered for control volunteers (with no previous history of psychosis) in a study hoping to help improve early identification, monitoring, and personalised care for people with a first episode of psychosis.
- Volunteers needed for a COVID-19 Challenge Study (COV-CHIM 02)
- Volunteers needed for BCG Challenge Study of a Novel TB Vaccine (TB045)
- Oxford Health is looking for Bangladeshi, British-Bangladeshi, Pakistani and British-Pakistani volunteers from across Oxford to take part in the Genes and Health study.
- Do you experience depression or anxiety, and trouble sleeping? NDCN are looking for volunteers aged 18-30 to take part in a study comparing behavioural sleep interventions.
- The KOALA study is looking for volunteers aged 5-8 years old, with either normal vision or with lazy eye, to take part in a child-friendly brain imaging study. Please contact koalastudy@ndcn.ox.ac.uk with any questions or for more information.
