Examination couches
Calling all University of Oxford medical students! There are two portable examination couches available at the Cairns Library which you are welcome to use to practice your skills. The couches can be borrowed overnight provided they can be kept secure. For further information please contact hcl-cairns@bodleian.ox.ac.uk or visit the library.
Information skills workshops
The Bodleian continues to offer free information skills workshops to members of the University, including courses specifically designed for students, researchers and staff in MSD, covering topics such as literature searching, science communication, systematic reviews, conference posters and reference management software. Wellbeing
The Bodleian Health Care Libraries offer a range of small but meaningful ways to support the wellbeing of staff and students. They provide tranquil spaces with comfy seating, plants, novels, poetry and lots of other wellbeing activities. And for the more musically-minded, the Cairns Library at the John Radcliffe Hospital has a silent piano, available 24/7.
