 An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the specialised Medical Monitor Team within Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an ideal opportunity to develop your understanding of the pharmacovigilance processes from the Sponsor, NHS Trust and Regulatory perspective. The successful candidate will be expected to support the current Pharmacovigilance System, provide specialist advice and where required assist in any system developments. The individual will also become part of the Joint Oxford University and Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Trial Safety Committee. The role may also include other aspects of pharmacovigilance work carried out by the department. 

The applicant should have a Medical Degree with a sound clinical knowledge in diverse therapeutic areas, thorough knowledge of Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations 2004 and Amendments 2006 and legal requirements, strong background in drug Safety / pharmacovigilance, excellent communication and time management skills, ability to be proactive and be computer literate and competent in the use of pharmacovigilance databases.

The role will include training and would be a good starting point for a career in Pharmacovigilance.
