Have your say on open access: take part in a focus group! (and enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the Bodleian)
Over the summer the Open Scholarship Support team has been working to refresh open access messaging to help researchers and authors more easily understand what they need to do. This term we will be running three focus groups to receive feedback on this.
- Tuesday 26th November, 3pm-4pm: in person, for any researcher - including a tour of the Bodleian afterwards as thanks for your participation - session 3.
- Register for the Bodleian tour in addition to any feedback session.
The RSL Worry Box
We have placed a worry box in the Wellbeing Room in the RSL. Staff and students can write down their worries, stresses and anxieties and post them into the box anonymously. In 8th week we’ll shred all the worries in the worry box and send the paper to the University Gardens to be turned into fertiliser. Pop in to the Wellbeing Room and release your worries before the end of term.
Say it with Science!
Whether reporting your lab class results, publishing a paper or prepping a conference poster, honing your communication skills will get your message across. Check out the RSL book display this month for tips on scientific writing, or check our online reading list.
