Public Engagement
Public Engagement with Research is ways of engaging members of the public with the design, conduct and dissemination of research - all with the goal of generating mutual benefit by enhancing the quality and socio-economic impact of research.
The Medical Sciences Division has a strong record of public engagement. This page contains opportunities to get engaged and offers help and support. You can find further guidance on the University’s public engagement pages. Additionally, the Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Division maintains a useful list of opportunities.
Beyond the University, the National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement has many resources to help universities and researchers engage with the public. Your department may have a Public Engagement lead and the University maintains a Public Engagement Facilitator Network.
So, there is always someone who can help.
