Oxford Medical Sciences tackling the climate crisis
Oxford Medical Sciences researchers are at the forefront of efforts to address the climate crisis, harnessing their expertise to understand and mitigate its far-reaching health impacts. Their work spans investigating the impacts of pollution, uncovering how climate change affects infectious disease, seeking to understand the impact of extreme weather conditions on our wellbeing, exploring the positive impact of nature on mental health, and using cutting-edge research to bring species back from the brink of extinction.
The Medical Sciences Division is an internationally recognised centre of excellence for biomedical and clinical research and teaching and is the largest of the four academic divisions within the University.
