Communications
The Communications team works with researchers, staff, students and central services to coordinate and facilitate communications across the Division. We help induct all new communication staff, host communication staff network sessions, and provide communications advice and training as required. We also represent the Division and its constituent departments on University-wide committee and working groups.
The team is responsible for streamlining internal communications activity across the Medical Sciences Division and hosting the Division's external communications channels. To aid streamlined internal communications across the Division, and to reduce duplication, please direct all internal messages to the Divisional Communications team (e.g. messages aimed at staff or students in our departments). We are in regular contact with departmental communications leads and manage established channels designed to disseminate messages across the Division in an efficient, timely and coordinated manner.
We also manage the Divisional web presence (Haiku) and its oversight process, the internal newsletter software system (Adestra/Uplands Software), and the Division's image management system (ThirdLight).
