The Department of Biochemistry reminds colleagues across Medical Sciences Division (MSD) that it can offer unrestricted access to the six fully operational Small Research Facilities (SRFs) listed below:

  • Crystallography
  • NMR Spectroscopy
  • Molecular Biophysics
  • Micron Bioimaging Facility
  • Advanced Proteomic Facility
  • Central Oxford Structure Molecular Imaging Centre (COSMIC)

These facilities are housed in the Biochemistry Building in South Parks Road and are open for members of any MSD department. There are no restrictions in terms of access to either the building or these facilities. These SRFs are fully open for groups in all other departments on the same basis as groups in Biochemistry. Charges are also the same for all grant-funded academic research projects no matter what department or division. Charges for projects with external partners are charged at a higher rate.

Visit the Biochemistry website for a comprehensive overview of each facility
