Anatomy Jargon Dissected
On 8 April 2025, the Radcliffe Science Library and Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics together hosted a new event, Anatomy Jargon Dissected, which explored the linguistic and historical roots of anatomy. There was a range of talks, activities and a fabulous exhibition of medical treasures that appealed to medics and non-medics. Attendees were very positive about the event, “I enjoyed everything - the morning talks, the interesting and engaging word activity, the stories, and the show-and-tell opportunity to see the rare books and the stories behind them”.

The Radcliffe Science Library is very happy to receive recommendations of print or electronic materials. Please contact your subject or outreach librarian within any requests for books, journals, etc. before 31 May to ensure the item can be purchased this financial year.
