MSD's Governance, Risk & Compliance Hub is the result of a Continuous Improvement project in MSD last summer, which found that there were:
- Increasing regulatory demands & complexity
- Lack of clarity for practical implementation
- Multiple sources of information
- Lack of meaningful context for different users
- Duplication of work e.g. templates, policies
- Lack of clear routes to training provisions
As a result, the Hub team were appointed: Governance Manager Goher Ayman, and Communications & Engagement Officer Rachel Pollard, in the spring of 2023. After hitting the ground running, reaching out to contacts across the university, the team started to design the GRC Hub SharePoint Site: a trusted one-stop shop providing resources and support for embedding effective governance, demonstrable compliance, and a culture of risk management and risk-based decision making across the Division. This hub is now live.

Information is displayed by topic, and additionally via toolkits for roles highlighting core resources.
