If a practical component forms any part of the A-Levels taken, we expect candidates to have taken it and passed.

If you are taking science A Levels offered by Ofqual examination boards, then practical skills will be assessed by both written examination papers and a practical endorsement. If the A Level you are taking assesses practical skills in these ways, then we expect you to have completed and passed the practical endorsement in order to meet our academic entry requirements.

If you are taking science A Levels offered by exam boards that do not assess practical skills through a practical endorsement, then this would not be required.
