How to apply

The closing date for application for entry each year is October in the year before you intend to start the course, e.g. the deadline for October 2025 entry will be October 2024.

All applications must be submitted via UCAS, and every applicant must register for and sit the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT).

14 May 09:30 BST: UCAT Account Creation opens

18 June 06:00 BST: UCAT booking opens

8 July:  UCAT testing starts

15 September 23:59 BST: Access Arrangement deadline for UCAT

19 September 12 noon BST: UCAT booking deadline

26 September: Last UCAT day

27 September 16:00 BST: UCAT Bursary Scheme application deadline

15 October 18:00 BST: UCAS application deadline

Late November: Shortlisting decisions are communicated to applicants by email

Mid-December: Interviews for Medicine in 2024

Mid-January 2025: Final decisions are communicated to applicants by colleges
