Osler House Club
Presidents' Welcome
Welcome to Osler House Club. We’re Michael, Maria, and Jonathan, the Co-Presidents for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Osler House Club is formed of all Oxford clinical medicine students. It functions both as a building (“college”) and as a society (“Common Room”). Our aim is to give medical students the facilities to thrive socially whilst creating sporting, social, and academic opportunities for everyone. The Club exists for students and is run by students.
Situated on the JR hospital site, Osler House Club will serve as your home away from home during the working week, where you can enjoy our gardens, strength and cardio gym, kitchen, and bar. We also oversee multiple student-led academic and sporting societies, providing them with funding, function room space and equipment.
The Club quickly bounced back from setbacks during the COVID years, and now boasts an Annual Garden Party, the return of BOPs and year group socials, competitive football, and netball clubs, a student choir and orchestra, and a strong collaborative relationship with the Tingewick Society.
We support student leaders running events and other activities, whether it’s redesigning stash, setting up a book club or organising a conference, and we encourage all students to share suggestions and ideas to help improve their Club. All of this is coordinated and overseen by our 22-strong committee.
We’re excited for the amazing year ahead and look forward to seeing all of you at our next meeting or event. Keep up-to-date with Club activities via our Osler House Facebook Page, our Osler House Instagram and regular email bulletins. There will be something for everyone so please come along!
