Clinical Medicine: What is a Progression Review Meeting?
OXFORD APPLICANTS
There may be a small number of Progression Review Meetings to review any issues raised by the Transfer of Information Form (and/or pre-clinical tutor).
Progression Review Meetings take the form of a face to face meeting with the student. They will normally be for the purpose of clarifying issues and discussing adjustments which may need to be put in place by the clinical school rather than informing selection decisions.
Progression Review Meetings are generally held in early March.
LONDON SCHOOL APPLICANTS
It is likely that all London School candidates will be required to attend an interview by the relevant school.
Please Note; Oxford students starting the Pre-clinical course in 2021 or later (ie starting the Clinical course in 2024 or later) will no longer have the option of a London transfer. Oxford would be willing to consider giving permission to transfer to any student wishing to make an ad hominem application to a London School.
