Elective Programme: What fees are charged for Elective students?

There is an application fee of £50 which must be paid before submitting an application (the Order Number is required within the application form). Please note that the fee is non-refundable and so applicants must ensure that they are eligible to apply for an elective before making the payment.

In particular, please ensure that:

• You are currently a medical student and will continue to be an enrolled medical student at the time of the proposed placement (ie. you cannot undertake a placement with us if you have completed your course);
• You are able to attend a placement within the period of the next elective cycle (applications in November 2024 are strictly for placements between 1 September 2025 - 31 August 2026 only).

There are no tuition fees for Elective students at Oxford.
