My research concerns the study of structural and functional organisation of the brain at a systems level. Specifically, I am currently (mainly) involved in the following:  (i) mathematical modelling of diffusion weighted MR; (ii) comparisons of in-vivo, ex-vivo, and histological techniques; (iv) comparative anatomy; (v) modelling detailed microstructure with novel MR pulse sequences; (vi) modelling the topographic organisation of brain connections and their relationship to brain function; (vii) models of individual variations in brain function.
