The Newton-Abraham Studentship in Medical, Biological and Chemical Sciences

Studentship Value
At present, Newton-Abraham Studentships offer:
- payment of fees at Home rate
- a maintenance grant (currently £17,000 pa in years 1, 2, and 3 and £8,500 in year 4)
- Research Support Grant of £5,000 per annum in years 1, 2 and 3
This studentship is tenable in association with Lincoln College.
No person may be awarded a scholarship a second time.
Eligibility
Newton-Abraham Studentships were established to promote research in the medical, biological, and chemical sciences.
To be eligible for the award in 2022 admissions round, candidates must have applied to the University for admission for postgraduate study in one of the following departments:
Candidates applying for admission to study in one of the Medical Sciences Division departments are not eligible for the award in 2022 admission round.
How to apply
All applicants to the above MPLS departments whom have applied by the deadline of 21st January 2022, will automatically be considered for this award.
There will be no separate application required.
