About the call

Supports translational cancer research projects that need to answer key questions or bridge a gap to progress towards commercial development. The fund can support activities from early validation and de-risking of preliminary translational science through to proof-of-concept studies, market research and other work needed to move a project to the next stage. Proposals should have a clearly defined endpoint and must be consistent with Cancer Research Horizons’ vision and purpose.

The consortium brings together LifeArc, Cancer Research Horizons and GOSH Charity to provide funding, drug discovery and development expertise, specialist capabilities and partnership support to de-risk promising projects and progress them towards clinical development and patient benefit.
