A web page, especially a long page, without headings and sub-headings is difficult to scan and for people using assistive technology, such as screen readers, to use.

To create a heading:

  1. Highlight the text for your heading.
  2. Click the style dropdown list in the rich text editor.
  3. Select the heading type. To maintain the correct hierarchical structure of the page you must select Heading – Main before Heading -Sub.

Note: Do not try to format headings in any other way.
