This shows you how to enter alt (alternative) text and copyright information when you upload a new image to a webpage.

Click Edit on the toolbar at the top of your page.

  1. Click the Media tab.
  2. Click Upload.

  1. Enter a title for your image in the Title field.
  2. Click Choose file to select your file.

Enter the alt text in the Summary field.

  1. Enter copyright information in the Image copyright field.
  2. Select the most appropriate text style for the copyright information from the Copyright text style drop down list. Your text needs to have sufficient contrast to ensure it is accessible – choose dark if you have any doubts as to whether the light style (white text) will provide good contrast.

Click the Add button in the image pop up editor.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
