Developing training to support safer practice in healthcare
Helen is a Consultant Anaesthetist in the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust and a Senior Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Oxford. She has always had a keen interest in medical education and has been the Director of Undergraduate Teaching in the Nuffield Division of Anaesthetics since she took up her post in 2001. She became the medical director of the Oxford Simulation, Teaching and Research Centre (OxSTaR) when it opened in 2008. She is a member of the Executive Committee for the Association of Simulated Practice in Healthcare.
