This guide shows you how to change the link text in the main content area of a Haiku webpage.

Link text should be meaningful out of context. This example shows you how to change the link text ‘here’ to something that is meaningful without the rest of the sentence.

Click Edit on the toolbar at the top of the page.

Scroll down to the main content editor. Type in the new text.

In this example we have changed:

Over the years, several researchers in the Medical Sciences Division have successfully applied for PER seed funding, and you can read more about their projects here.

With the link on the word ‘here’,

to:

Over the years, several research in the Medical Sciences Division have successfully applied for PER seed funding. Read more about previously funded projects.

With the link on the words ‘previously funded projects’.

To create the link.

  1. Highlight the text
  2. Click the link tool. You will see a pop up window which gives you the option to set up an internal or external link.

Save your page.
