UNDERSTANDING ADJUSTMENTS: SUPPORTING STAFF AND STUDENTS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING MENTAL HEALTH DIFFICULTIES - ADVANCE HE, 2015

This research looks at reasons why staff and students disclose or do not disclose a mental health difficulty, and the support and adjustments that universities provide. 2063 HE staff and 1442 students who had experienced mental health difficulties responded to a survey and their voices have helped to shape the report and resulting recommendations.

SUPPORTING STAFF WELLBEING IN HIGHER EDUCATION (2021)

This report presents the findings of a national study examining working life in UK Higher Education institutions. 2046 academic and academic related staff were surveyed about the psychosocial hazards they encounter, how they feel about the tasks they do and the availability and usefulness of support mechanisms to manage their wellbeing. The psychosocial safety climate of their institutions was also examined along with mental health and work-life balance.

Thriving at Work is an independent review that outlines what employers can do to better support all employees, including those with mental health problems, to remain in and thrive through work.
