Cardiovascular Epidemiologist

Lucy Wright is a cardiovascular epidemiologist working on the Million Women Study, and joined the unit in 2008. She has an Oxford DPhil in clinical cardiovascular epidemiology, which was completed in 2006. Her undergraduate degree in nursing is from Dalhousie University, Canada. Lucy’s clinical and research backgrounds are both in cardiovascular disease, which includes over 10 years in general practice research. Within the Million Women Study, Lucy’s research currently focuses on methodological issues associated with cardiovascular disease and risk factors for cardiovascular disease in women. Her other main research interest lies in trends in cardiovascular disease, and she is currently collaborating on several related studies.
