Patient and public involvement (PPI)
Patient and public involvement (PPI) means actively involving patients/public in research in ways that are appropriate and relevant.
The aim is to ensure research addresses the things that really matter to people and is carried out in an accessible and inclusive manner.
Researchers' PPI guidance
Some departments and organisations have PPI leads who can provide support and advice on incorporating PPI into your research. They can also signpost you to further resources, so please do contact them directly.
