James McBain

Educational Technologist

I work with colleagues in the Learning Technologies team to support the development and delivery of administration, teaching, and assessment within the Medical School.

Prior to joining the Medical Sciences Division, my background was in the Humanities; as an early career academic, I held a number of research fellowships and lectureships in English within the University. I subsequently pivoted to administration and worked for a number of Oxford colleges before being appointed as Senior Academic Administrator (maternity cover) in Graduate-Entry Medicine in July 2020.
