Old Road Campus - Road Closures and Detours

We are committed to minimising disruptions to campus users. Here you will find information about current and upcoming road closures and detours.

woodland path access from old road

There is currently no access to ORC from Old Road via the woodland path due to preparatory works for pathway improvements. This area is indicated in red on the image below
Please use alternative access points as shown in yellow.

  • Work to develop this route into a formal pathway with improved surface will commence in March 2026.
    The cleared area will be fenced off until the main works start.

Nursery path

The path adjacent to the Triangle nursery remains restricted to pedestrians only throughout the duration of Plot B2 works. A fencing chicane system has been installed to encourage cyclists to dismount and push bikes along this pathway. 

Cyclists must dismount along this path for the safety of all path users. Thank you for your support with this.
