progress and Look ahead  

Plot B1 internal and facade works continue. Atrium glazing is complete. 
Please be aware of increased small vehicle movements for delivery of facade and internal components. 

 

Plot B2  site activities including sheet piling have re-commenced.

This work has commenced and will continue as scheduled below:

  • Tuesday 28 October - Saturday 1 November 2025 inclusive

  • Monday 3 November - Tuesday 4 November 2025 inclusive

This activity is likely to generate noticeable noise and vibration.

The project team has worked hard to minimise the amount of piling required for the development and work with the contractor to take all reasonable steps to manage noise and vibrations to minimise the impact to campus of these necessary works.

idrm access road diversion

Due to a requirement for service diversions a temporary diversion to the road between IDRM and Innovations building will commence w/c 10th November for approximately 6 weeks duration.
The indicative road layout is shown in the image below. Red lines indicate hoarding lines.

Vehicle access to IDRM and the Innovation Building will be maintained at all times and will be actively monitored by Laing O'Rourke during working hours.
The footway alongside the Innovation Building will be narrowed with hoarding as indicated by the green line shown. Access will be maintained at all times.

Cycle parking - Triangle nursery

The cycle bays located as outlined in green below are allocated for staff and parents of Triangle nursery only. Your support with this is appreciated.

The path adjacent to the Triangle nursery remains restricted to pedestrians only throughout the duration of Plot B2 works. A fencing chicane system has been installed to encourage cyclists to dismount and push bikes along this pathway. 

Cyclists must dismount along this path for the safety of all path users. Thank you for your support with this.
