Preparatory works to clear low level vegetation in area highlighted below in red.

This is an informal route through the wooded area. Work to develop this route into a formal pathway with improved surface will commence in March 2026.The cleared area will be fenced off until the main works start.
Plot B2

Secant piling continues.The current piling is focused in the areas shown in green below. This area is scheduled for completion on 2nd February.Focus will then move to the areas marked in orange, with completion schedule by end March

Mitigations are in place however this activity creates intermittent vibration and persistent loud noise. This continues to be monitored to ensure safe levels are maintained.

We appreciate the disruption this may cause, the project team endeavour to minimise this wherever possible within project constraints

Temporary closure of IDRM access road. Saturday 24th JanuaryThe access road will be closed to allow excavation works to take place in area shown in yellow below.Vehicle access during this period will be permitted under control of a banksman using road plates.

From Sunday onwards, road plates will be installed so the area can remain open.Concrete will be poured on Monday 26th January, during which there will be a short period of approximately 20 minutes where access may be briefly managed, but the road will not be closed.
Future activities

Occasional closures of footpath to rear of BBH – Dates TBC but notice will be provided. Laing O'Rourke aim to avoid busy periods

Access gate (3) to be created on IDRM access road. Minimal anticipated impact to campus

Accessibility / lift access to be created at cabins by BBH. May require temporary footpath restriction. Laing O'Rourke aim to avoid busy periods for these works
Cycle parking - Triangle nursery

nursery path
The path adjacent to the Triangle nursery remains restricted to pedestrians only throughout the duration of Plot B2 works. A fencing chicane system has been installed to encourage cyclists to dismount and push bikes along this pathway.
Cyclists must dismount along this path for the safety of all path users. Thank you for your support with this.
Access to the campus from the South is unaffected.
