B2 Drone activity
As part of the normal construction process on the B2 plot on Old Road Campus a small drone may be used occasionally to support safe and efficient building works.
The drone is used to collect aerial survey information that helps the project team check progress, plan work safely, and reduce the need for people to work at height. It flies at height and is programmed so it cannot leave the construction site boundary.
The drone is not used to film neighbouring buildings, people, or activities, and no close-up imagery is taken.
All images are reviewed and stored securely, and the activity follows strict University safety, privacy, and aviation regulations.
