Translational Research Office

The Translational Research Office (TRO) delivers support to translational research projects ensuring the progression of basic, biomedical and clinical research towards therapies, techniques and medical products with therapeutic value. The TRO works closely with the Division’s Business Development and Partnering team, Oxford University Innovations, the Biomedical Research Centre and NHS partners.

What the TRO can do for researchers

  • Support you in developing project strategies that are attractive to translational funding
  • Give advice around translational pathway planning, timeframes and overcoming of associated hurdles
  • Connect you to internal and external infrastructures or resources
  • Source relevant internal and external expertise for instance Oxford University Innovation or the Industry Experts in Residence scheme
  • Provide you with research project management
