Peter Beaconsfield’s Prize in Physiological Sciences rewards young researchers who are capable of escaping from the stereotype of narrow specialisation to engage with translational medicine, and display a wider grasp of the significance and potential applicability of their research.

The Division is pleased to announce that the 2018 Peter Beaconsfield Prize in Physiological Sciences has been awarded to Miss Scarlett Harris of Magdalen College and the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology.

Two proxime accesserunt (runners-up) awards have been made: to Miss Rita Alonaizan of St Catherine’s College and the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics and to Mr Alberto Lazari of University College and Oxford Neuroscience.
