Since May 2023, I have been working as an assistant to the Clinical Course Coordinator (Laura Morgan) and other Administrators in the Medical School Office with a number of administrative duties. My role includes:
- Arranging ‘Letters of Recommendation’ and ‘Letters of Support,’ signed by the Director of Clinical Studies, for medical students applying for clinical elective placements in the UK and overseas
- Managing and processing data related to clinical electives for the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA)
- Authorising documents for our current medical students as well as alumni, including clinical elective applications, transcripts, degree certificates, and other paperwork
- Researching and compiling clinical clerkships data for doctors who are pursuing overseas employment and therefore require a Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
- Supporting the Directors by managing the application process for the United Kingdom Foundation Programme Office (UKFPO)
