Lecture Theatre

The lecture theatre has 216 seats, a 7 metre wide screen for Christie DWU851-Q projector (1920 x 1200 WUXGA), and PowerPoint slide advancer
There is an overflow facility to the main upper ground floor seminar room which can hold 50 additional seats, has two-way sound to the lecture theatre and 2 video lines to show both the lecturer and the presentation from the lecture theatre.
Seminar Rooms
There are seven seminar rooms available in the MSTC. All rooms have white boards and ceiling mounted projection screens. Additional flip charts can also be provided. Each room has a presenters table and chair and any room can be set up for "round-table discussion". There are ceiling mounted data projectors available in all rooms.
The Lower Ground Seminar Rooms (LGa and LGb): Each room can accommodate 25 chairs with writing tablets.
The Upper Ground Seminar Rooms (UGa, UGb and UGc): Each room can accommodate 25 chairs with writing tablets. UGa and UGb can be opened up to create a large room which can hold up to 50 people in seminar style, or 28 in boardroom style.
These rooms are located on the same floor as the entrance to the lecture theatre, and with the foyer, can be used as an open area for receptions, registration and poster displays.
The Third Floor Seminar Rooms (3a and 3b): Each room can accommodate 25 chairs with writing tablets. For larger seminars these rooms can be opened up to create one large room which can accommodate up to 50 people, or 28 in boardroom style.
These rooms are located on the third floor of the MSTC and have marvellous views out over University Parks.
Foyer

The MSTC Foyer combined with the upper ground floor seminar rooms make an ideal space for receptions and posterboards displays.
We have a number of posterboards available to hire and can advise on the best arrangements for your event.
Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) Lab
© WaringsThe CAL (Computer Assisted Learning) Lab has 45 networked PCs with flat screens and provision for 45 further data inputs.
It has a ceiling mounted data projector and is the ideal location for IT based training and online assessments.
Medical Laboratories
© WaringsIn the first floor laboratory (Classroom 1) there are 42 networked computers, a radio microphone and a ceiling mounted data projector with computer, VCR and DVD input.
In the second floor laboratory (Classroom 2) there are 90 places with microscopes, sinks, cold water, natural gas and one flat screen monitor per 3 places. There is CCTV from the microscopes and range of macrocameras, a radio microphone and a fixed microphone.
Demonstration Room
© WaringsThe demonstration room has dissection facilities for medical conferences, a radio microphone and a ceiling mounted data projector with computer, VCR and DVD input.
