Need out of hours help?
Support will be available via the University’s out-of-hours IT partner.
Simply call 01865 612345 to speak to someone or use Ember – a new conversational AI chatbot that can answer common IT questions, guide troubleshooting, and provide help with using University systems and tools.
We are a user-friendly team of IT professionals based in the Medical Sciences Division. We operate and manage data networks and networked services, and provide desktop management for the Division's departments.
We work with the University IT Services to provide local support for University-wide enterprise services, including Nexus email, calendars, SharePoint and other systems.
In-house, we aim to provide a cost-effective portfolio of services, offering industry-strength standards of reliability. Our networks comply with all statutory, legal and funding body requirements and are accessible where and when required by users, well secured against internal and external intrusion.

Windows 10 is end of life
Machines running Windows 10 are no longer allowed to connect to University networks, and any machines that connect to Division or University systems running out-of-support software are in breach of university & JISC regulations.
Do not connect them.
Contact your local IT support if your devices needs to be upgraded or replaced.
