Information Technology
We are a user-friendly team of IT professionals based in the Medical Sciences Division. We operate and manage data networks and networked services, and provide desktop management for the Division's departments.
We work with the University IT Services to provide local support for University-wide enterprise services, including Nexus email, calendars, SharePoint and other systems.
In-house, we aim to provide a cost-effective portfolio of services, offering industry-strength standards of reliability. Our networks comply with all statutory, legal and funding body requirements and are accessible where and when required by users, well secured against internal and external intrusion.

How to update your Eduroam certificate
Eduroam certificate settings are changing on 5 August 2025. You will need to update your certificate to continue connecting to the Eduroam Wi-Fi service.
Windows 11 Upgrade
All computers on the MSD IT Network must be upgraded to Windows 11 by October 1st. Please do this promptly - see the Windows 11 upgrade information for details.
Machines running Windows 10 will not be allowed to access the network from 1st October 2025.
