The 2017 Teaching Excellence Awards Ceremony took place in TS Elliot Theatre, Merton College on Tuesday 17th October 2017. It was hosted by the Head of Division, Professor Gavin Screaton, Associate Head of Division (Education), Professor David Vaux, and Senior Assistant Registrar (Education), Ms Jane Dale.

Two of this year's Awardees in the Project category gave inspiring presentations on the aims of their proposed projects. Dr Nicola Barclay spoke on the topic of Enhancing Online Teaching Methods in the Oxford Online Programme in Sleep Medicine and Associate Professor Leanne Hodson presented details of the project she will carry out together with Professor Marella De Bruijn entitled Confident Personal Impact Training for Women: a pilot study.

The ceremony was followed by a drinks and canapés reception.
