Jo Miller

Global Health Facilitator

I provide coordination and support for Global Health research across the University.

The strength and breadth of Oxford’s Global Health research has never been clearer than during the coronavirus pandemic, with researchers from across multiple departments and divisions working with colleagues, locally and around the globe, to come up with effective vaccines, anti-viral drugs, medical equipment, rapid tests, serology data, disease models and social, behavioural and economic support for patients, healthcare providers and the population.

I’m currently providing support to better connect Oxford’s already vibrant communities of global health researchers, a focus for strategic reflection, an environment to nurture cross-disciplinary communities of practice and creation of a shop-window to showcase the best of Oxford’s research.
