Graduate School Support Officer

I am responsible for the day-to-day administration of Research Council studentship funding and activities within the Medical Sciences Graduate School, including reporting on those activities.

I am the first point of administrative contact for Medical Research Council Doctoral Training Partnership (MRC DTP) activities, planning events and maintaining resources.

I also provide day-to-day support for the Graduate School Officer in the administration of the annual Graduate School Studentship Competition, with the planning and organisation of events (for example the Graduate School’s annual welcome and induction event) and the maintenance of online resources for the Graduate School as a whole.

Finally, I administer student awards from a variety of trust funds, including the Christopher Welch Scholarships, Newton Abraham Studentships, the Goodger and Schorstein Scholarships, and the Beaconsfield Prize in Physiological Sciences.

I have been working for the University since 2007. Until September 2014 I was a part of a number of UAS teams in Examination Schools, after which I joined the Medical Sciences Divisional Office.
