Having completed his undergraduate studies in London, Gurdeep started his training in the East of England deanery. He then moved to Oxford to complete his specialist training in general surgery. He is an NIHR academic clinical lecturer in general surgery and clinical research fellow in cancer surgery. His research interest is in cancer epidemiology.
