Volunteer Alumni Editor (Medicine and Biomedical Sciences)
A Volunteer Opportunity with Real Impact
The School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is relaunching its annual alumni magazine — and we’re looking for enthusiastic alumni to help shape it.
As an Alumni Volunteer Editor, you’ll play a key role in creating a magazine that celebrates our community, showcases cutting‑edge medical and scientific work, and strengthens the connection between alumni, students, and the University.
Foundation School Network Volunteer (Medicine)
Starting foundation training is a big transition and we're keen to support our final year students as they move into postgraduate training.
We're setting up a network of Oxford Medical Alumni who are at or have recently been in foundation training (or have a specific link to a Foundation School), to establish contacts who can be helpful to Oxford finalists moving to UK foundation schools.

Year champion volunteer (Medicine and Biomedical Sciences)
Would you like to foster a sense of community by organizing class-specific activities and gatherings?
Reunions and other gatherings can be a great opportunity to build connections and reconnect with long lost friends.
As a Year Champion or Lead Alumni Organiser you will oversee setting up a team, booking a space, defining the date, food and other details. The Alumni Engagement office will be here to facilitate you, help your invite reach all your year group, direct you to event resources and recommended suppliers or connect you with former Year Champions for tips and advice.
Student or alumni support volunteer (Medicine and Biomedical Sciences)
We are looking for Alumni interested in helping the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences develop the future Medicine and Biomedicine graduates that will continue our long history of excellence.
From hosting a student for a summer internship, sharing your experience by providing advice, tips and inspiration to students or recent graduates or reaching out to under-represented communities to encourage them to consider a future at the Oxford School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
We aim to facilitate and support opportunities for Alumni to engage fully in our School and the wider University in the way that represents their interests and skills.
