Biomedical Sciences: Will taking more than 3 A-levels improve my chances of a place?
Our typical offer is A*AA in 3 A-level subjects. Quality rather than quantity of study is what really counts. Tutors will select applicants of high academic ability and potential, but that is not the only trait tutors will be looking for (see our selection criteria). We also recognize that some students are restricted by school policies to the number of subjects they can follow. Candidates are of course welcome to study for additional A-levels, if they wish to do so out of personal preference, and if this would not compromise their performance in other key academic areas. However, candidates should be aware that tutors may specify the A-level subjects that are included within the A*AA offer when more than three A-level subjects are being studied.
