Joanna Kemp

Disability Inclusion Officer

I am the Disability Inclusion Officer for the Medical Sciences Division and work as part of the University's Disability Inclusion Project. My role focuses on supporting staff to embed inclusive, anticipatory practices, further enhancing the development and implementation of Student Support Plans (SSPs), and developing, delivering and evaluating local initiatives to better understand and address disability awarding rates.

I work closely with divisional and departmental colleagues, as well as central services, to contribute to a sustainable and equitable approach to supporting disabled students. This aligns with the University's Access and Participation Plan commitments and supports the consistent implementation of inclusive education practices.
