Chris Griffiths

Director of Graduate Studies

Professor Griffiths has over 25 years of experience in applied health research in primary care, focussing on respiratory health, air pollution, infectious disease, and domestic violence. He leads the CHILL cohort (Children’s Health in London and Luton) evaluating the impacts of London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone on children’s health and development. With Aziz Sheikh, he co-leads the new Centre for Applied Respiratory Research Innovation and Impact (CARRii), focussing on reducing NHS respiratory winter pressures and health inequalities.
