Epidemiologist

I am an experienced epidemiologist and methodologist leading studies on women's health and health inequalities. I am Principal Investigator on three grants on hormone replacement therapy (HRT) use and risks funded by the NIHR. One quantifying disparities in HRT prescribing in the UK and the others identifying socioeconomic and ethnic disparities in health outcomes: breast, endometrial and ovarian cancer,  cardiovascular disease, dementia, osteoporosis and all-cause mortality with HRT use using electronic healthcare data. I am leading two work packages on a NIHR-funded programme grant on the safety of medication in pregnancy.

I have expertise in analyses of large electronic healthcare datasets (CPRD and QResearch), meta-analysis, managing UK-based and international multicentre clinical studies, clinical epidemiology and qualitative data collection and analysis.
