Project Officer
As Project Officer, I work with the Head of Development – Medical Sciences as well as the wider Medical Sciences Development team to support the fundraising priorities for the team.
My work involves drafting major gift proposals, impact reports, case statements, and other materials for engaging new donors and build on previous gifts from existing donors. Prior to joining the Development and Alumni Engagement Office, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences, and also completed my MRes in Oncology at the University of Oxford.
I bring over 10 years of experience as a biomedical scientist with diverse expertise in immuno-oncology and virology. Before moving to Oxford, I worked as a scientific writer and event manager for research institutes in Pakistan.
After working in science for several years, I am excited to switch gears and work for science within the DAE.
