I'm a postdoc in Matthew Rushworth's group. In my research I examine how rewards are being used to guide decisions. I study this process by devising tasks during which participants make choices and receive rewards depending on how good their choices are. I then build computational models to explain the participants' behaviour, and link variables of these models to neural activity.
I finished my DPhil in 2022. Projects I worked on during my DPhil include examining how different kinds of surprises are represented in the brain, how risk-preferences are formed, and how the brain decides to explore alternative options.
