How to apply
The closing date for application for entry each year is October in the year before you intend to start the course, e.g. the deadline for October 2027 entry will be 15 October 2026.
All applications must be submitted via UCAS, and every applicant must register for and sit the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT).

20 May 14:00 BST: UCAT Account Creation opens
23 June 14:00 BST: UCAT booking opens
13 July: UCAT testing starts
10 September 15:00 BST: Access Arrangement deadline for UCAT
16 September 15:00 BST: UCAT booking deadline
UCAT Account creation closes
24 September: Last UCAT test day
24 September 15:00 BST: UCAT Bursary Scheme application deadline
15 October 18:00 BST: UCAS application deadline
Late November: Shortlisting decisions are communicated to applicants by email
Mid-December: Interviews for Medicine in 2026
Mid-January 2027: Final decisions are communicated to applicants by colleges
