Public engagement resources and information
Oxford Sparks is a one-stop-shop for all things public engagement, for members of the University as well as members of the public.
It provides resources and information for those just starting out through to those with experience looking for a new challenge.
Please note, many departments within the Division offer public engagement training and support. Please contact the departmental communications representative and/or visit the departments' websites for further information.
Courses are available to all members of the University and cover topics as diverse as using social media to communicate science to the secrets behind great videos.
Over 500 individual resources created by members of the University are available to be used by anyone. From colouring sheets to films on the science of levitation, there is something for everyone!
If you would like to read about research going on at Oxford, as it happens, try one of our blogs. The subjects covered include the brain and particle physics.

Find out more about research going on at Oxford with the videos. A new animation or film is released every term, each one focussing on a different area of cutting edge Oxford research. Subjects covered topics as diverse as cardiac genetics, underwater volcanoes and nitrogen fixation.
