Purchasing an image involves acquiring rights to use an image which are determined by the copyright holder.

You can also search for images on the web (e.g. using Google Image Search) but this does not mean that you have the right to download or use these images. You should always investigate the copyright of these images and ask the holder for permission to publish.

You should also seek permission to publish an image of a building or an individual. You can download forms for this purpose here:
