Partnership Project Manager – Cannabinoid Biology Programme
I am responsible for the coordination and oversight of the newly formed Cannabinoid Project portfolio to monitor progress and facilitate delivery of the planned research. I am the principle point of contact for communication between the project portfolio implemented within different University departments and the company funding the research stream. I also deliver general project management for the Business Development team within the Medical Sciences Division.
I studied Business Administration and Roman Languages at the University of Mannheim (Germany) followed by a Masters in European Studies at the University of Bonn (Germany). After the Masters programme, I completed a traineeship within the European Commission – DG Employment and Social Affairs, working for the European Social Fund’s geographical desk for Germany, Austria and Slovenia. My professional career in project management started in the coordination of EU-funded projects, first in interregional cooperation (INTERREG C) as part of a German Ministry and then for a large-scale FP7 research project in organ preservation led by the University of Oxford. I have also worked as a free-lance EU funding consultant for city councils and charities.
