RCUK Open Access block grant

A reminder that funds are available in Oxford’s Block Grant from the UK Research Councils to pay open access publication charges for articles arising from RCUK grants. New Wellcome Trust Open Access policy

OpenCon Oxford satellite event on 30 November 2018

Once again Oxford is hosting an OpenCon satellite event, on Friday 30th November 2018 at the Weston Library, jointly organised by Crossref, the Bodleian Libraries and the Centre for Digital Scholarship and OpenCon.

This is the 4th Oxford event and it promises an afternoon of talks from great speakers who are all doing interesting work in the open space. Confirmed speakers: Crossref’s own Geoffrey Bilder, a British Library representative, and more to be confirmed. Oxford researchers are most welcome to get involved.
